There was an interesting article about rapid assessment of chest pain in the ER. If a process like this was implemented there is a potential to avoid unnecessary observations / stress testing. I'll include a link to the Journal Watch Summary and will also include a link to the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. This may be something to bring to the ER doctors' attentions.

I like these articles, the JACC more so. It would be helpful for those very low risk. Don't see many people with TIMI score 0- most are at least on an aspirin. However, this would help a small portion of short stay admits to adopt said protocol. Has the ER discussed this issue recently?
